My Mission:

"I help those who are 'stuck' and suffering to remove road blocks, feel more contented and achieve their personal, relationship, and career goals."

What Is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a unique, intimate relationship.  You share your deepest personal concerns with me and I genuinely listen.  I am eager to help you speak your mind as thoroughly as you possibly can.  With curiosity, deep interest and seriousness I listen to you not only for content, but also for meanings and psychological aspects of your personality, and I share my understandings and interpretations with you.  This experience of being listened to and deeply understood restores your natural ability to heal and grow.

In our psychotherapy work together, we share mutual goals of not only symptom relief, but also of real and lasting changes in you.  An effective psychotherapy experience increases your capacity to love, to work and to live more fully.

  • Relief from depression, anxiety, guilt, and painful relationship situations
  • Stopping destructive or compulsive behaviors.
  • Shifting from self-defeating to satisfying ways of relating to yourself and others.
  • Developing strength to experience painful emotions
  • Embracing inevitable changes and transitions instead of turning away from them.
  • Increased vitality, humor and compassion.
  • Ability to turn natural talent into true accomplishment.
  • Trust in your own intuition.
  • Personal growth and finding meaning in your life.
